[Fibres/Fibers] Maintenance des FON / Dark fiber maintenance May 26, 2025 23:00 - May 27, 2025 06:00 CEST
Dans le cadre des procédures de maintenance préventive de nos opérateurs fibres, un contrôle approfondi des boîtiers de protection d'épissure optique (BPEO) a été réalisé sur le réseau de nos fibres noires.
Ce contrôle a mis en évidence un problème d’étanchéité sur plusieurs de ces boîtiers. Bien que notre infrastructure bénéficie d’un haut niveau de redondance, nous devons procéder à une intervention corrective afin d’assurer la pérennité et la fiabilité de nos services.
Malgré la présence de mécanismes de protection et de bascule automatique, un risque de coupure partielle des liens inter-datacenters (depuis ou vers NXN1 & NXN2) ne peut être complètement écarté durant la période de maintenance.
Les équipes techniques mettront tout en œuvre pour minimiser l’impact de cette opération.

As part of our fibre operators' preventive maintenance procedures, a thorough inspection of the fiber splice closure was carried out on our dark fibres network.
This revealed a problem with the watertightness of several of these boxes. Although our infrastructure benefits from a high level of redundancy, we need to take corrective action to ensure the continuity and reliability of our services.
Despite the presence of protection and automatic failover mechanisms, a risk of partial interruption of inter-datacenter links (from or to NXN1 & NXN2) cannot be completely ruled out during the maintenance period.
The technical teams will do their utmost to minimise the impact of this operation.
